Guided Interactive Discussion (35 minutes)
Topic – True Prevention Requires Prediction in a World of Exponential Devices
The endpoint is expanding. With the implosion of connected devices, cyber attackers are taking advantage of the expanding attack surface, creating a massive increase in targets. At first, threats were a concern mostly for governments, financial institutions and security vendors. Moving from organized crime, IT Leaders now face more sophisticated nation-state cyber warfare that includes highly visible, although actively denied, state-sponsored attacks as well as long-term espionage. The rapid evolution of Malware, with its increase in obfuscation attack volume, will give rise to large scale nation-state attacks.
As more industries become connected, we will see the targets move to industry verticals such as automotive, retail and healthcare. There is no silver bullet answer, but to be ahead of the attacker requires a predictive approach to preventing the attack before execution. This session will touch on the expanding threat landscape, challenges IT Leaders face along with case studies showcasing how CylancePROTECT® can provide more reliable prevention on the endpoint.
Moderated Open Forum Discussion (45 minutes)
The discussion will be based on the list of challenges discussed in the first half and will take the format of group brainstorming/open discussion to come up with possible solutions to common challenges facing the IT Executive.
Hiring and growing people with the right skill sets
